The OSLT held our Annual Spring Walk on Saturday, April 1st at Michael J. Crotty Bicentennial Park. Our guide, Paul Rebmann, a Florida Master Naturalist and nature photographer, shared his vast knowledge of local native plants.

We walked the entire park from the Atlantic to the Halifax River and back. There were 12 attendees in all, a mixture of Ormond by the Sea locals and visitors from out of town and an enjoyable time was had by all. We thank everyone for attending.

Issue No. 11 / December 2023 The Joys of the Season With the holiday season upon us, we hope that you are enjoying the beauty and calm of our natural environment and finding joy in spending time with loved ones. Looking back, 2023 was a busy year for the  Ormond Scenic Loop and Trail Florida Scenic Highway & National Scenic Byway  as we stepped up our outreach to the community through more events, social media activity and by participating in Volusia County's Coastal Cleanup and the ReGrow the Loop initiative.    We'd like to thank all those who have participated in any of our walks, talks or attended a leadership meeting - either in person or online.
