| The leadership team of the Ormond Scenic Loop and Trail wishes you and yours a very special and warm Holiday season. As we come to the end of another calendar year, we hope you will continue to join us as we strive to preserve and enhance the beauty of the OSLT scenic highway. Happy Holidays and a very Happy New Year to all! | | | ReGrow the Loop Continues |
| Once again dedicated Volusia County environmental organizations are partnering with Volusia County and the City of Ormond Beach to present educational programs to residents who live along the Ormond Scenic Loop and Trail – and anywhere in Volusia County. ReGrow the Loop 2025 (RGL) continues where the original ReGrow the Loop left off. Programs offered will include: eradication and identification of invasive plant species, increased use of native vegetation, attracting more wildlife and pollinators, and sharing information about sustainable practices that residents can adopt to protect the county's natural beauty. The five-month initiative will segue into ReGrow Volusia, a program expanding the initiative to other environmentally-sensitive areas in the county.
Local Partners the PawPaw Native Plant Society, Halifax River Audubon, Ormond Scenic Loop and Trail, Dream Green Volusia and Tomoka State Park have gathered again to present free monthly educational workshops and nature walks along the Ormond Scenic Loop and Trail. There will also be a Tree Giveaway. |

| OSLT Featured at the Library |
| We're happy to announce that during the Merry Month of December, the OSLT has an informative display in the Ormond Beach Regional Library! Located right outside of the auditorium, the case features photos, maps, merchandise and Loop artwork by Caroline Herbster of @risingtideartstudio. Thank you to OSLT volunteers, Gayle Woodley and Karen Pillar, who, along with Ms. Herbster, helped design the case's interior. Thanks also to the @ormondtshirtcompany for loaning us the beautiful blue t-shirt. Please stop by and take a look if you're in the Library this month! |

It was a great morning working in the Tomoka State Park Native Plant Garden on November 23rd. The Clean Up Day was initiated in response to the effects of Hurricane Milton and the long, hot summer. Sixteen dedicated volunteers from the Friends of Tomoka Basin, OSLT, Pawpaw Native Plant Society, Tillandsia Garden Club and the Garden Club of Halifax Country worked together to combat the huge amounts of debris and damaged plantings. What a difference a day makes! |
